Phoenix, AZ— Maricopa County Attorney Allister Adel has been named President of the Childhelp Arizona Advisory Board.
Founded in 1959, Childhelp has brought the light of hope and healing into the lives of more than 10 and a half million children as a leading national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping abused, neglected and at-risk children. Childhelp’s programs and services include residential treatment, children’s advocacy centers, therapeutic foster care, group homes, and child abuse prevention, education and training.
“Above the door of the Childhelp Children’s Center of Arizona, it reads, ‘ All Who Enter Here Will Find Love.’ Love also means security, support, and justice,” said Maricopa County Attorney Allister Adel. “With this mission in mind, I am honored to be named President of the Childhelp Arizona Advisory Board. I look forward to helping set a strategic vision for the safety and care of Arizona’s most vulnerable children— those who are brave survivors recovering from abuse and neglect. The services provided by Childhelp change lives and as a community we must support these efforts. I look forward to working collaboratively to bring awareness and resources to this amazing organization.”
The founders of Childhelp, Sara O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson, have guided the organization to help the lives of millions of children across the world.
